That power supply looks to be too small to be of much use. I doubt you could charge a single pack at even the 1A rate with that thing.

is there a better one but cheap say about 20 bucks or less?
I want to use it in the car and power outlet at home, and sell the old charger.

anyone have a picture of how to wire up a pc power supply to work with stock charger? It'll save a lot of money if I can do that.

old thread i know but will a 12V battery work just as well as AC?
can you still charge @ 4A for both batteries with a 12V source?

considering that most batteries have 660+ cca i would very well hope so. also look at the fuses installed... they add up to alot. lots of 20amps, and heaps of 10amps in our car. around 80-100 amps that can safetly be pulled if they can all be turned on at once...
so 8-10 amps shouldnt be a problem. up to 50amps would be possible i think.

Car batteries are 50-75 AHrs.

yeah, so 50ah would mean you could charge your batts many many times b4 recharing them (50/3.3 (batteries))
