As long are you are extremely careful with them, you shouldn't have a problem. Use a higher end charger, never charge more than a 1C rate, use a cell balancer and never leave them unattended.

My electrifly triton2 charger has a few safety features for example, you can set the maximum mAh it will put into a battery and also a temperature control that will automatically shut off the charger if the battery gets too hot.

They are scary to watch those things blow up though!

Just so you know, in the video they over charged the battery. Just to show what COULD happen if you mis treated them, like they did in the video.
