Im looking for a ac/dc charger that is capable of charging a 5s 8000mah lipo (possibly 6s in future) as well as my nimh I want one with a balencer built in My batt is a true rc so a hyperion one will work. I have heard though a ac/dc charger is not as good as just a straight dc charger, would I be better off getting a dc charger and then a seperate power supply?
What are your recomendations I want to keep to down to about $250 or below.
Here are the chargers I have in mind
A bc-6 http://www.lipostuff.com/Bantam_e_Station_BC_6_LiPo_Balancing_Charger_p/btbc6.htm

if you wanna charge @ 50W fo with ac/dc... if you want 250W go for a hyperion or similar...

this power supply would be a good/decent start...
