this (http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=25356) is a better option, or the one without the LED display.

robytfc, just calculate a bit. if you want to charge 2 batteries at 4Amps you need 8Amp just for that also the charger will take a bit so you need about 8.5-9Amps at least. If you want to charge 4 batteries at a time you need about 17-18Amps from the power supply.

wrong.

u dont charge @ 14v, say 1.5v/ cell. thats 24 cells total = 36v @ 4A = 144Watts without losses. so add 20 or so % and you get around 170W.

14x16 = 224W. so, it may be overrated (i dont think so at all, but for the purpose of the calculation) slets say it can only provide (in the long run) 186W (80%), still above the charger needs.

i would go to say that u could probably charge up to 4s 7 cell packs safely.

hope this helps,

ryan

btw, ive charged a 4s a123 pack (14.8v charged) @ 10 amps fine many times.
