Nice speed clocks. in the first post the link is broken. Aero. Mate that movie "The man from Hong Kong" is really old. But Now I have to get it out to see what happens. those $20 bills are old too. All australian money is now made from a polymer or plastic, apart from the coins that is.
nice driving, whos the one with the scarf on their head?

that would be my bro with the scarf!
hey i know that movie is old, i wasnt born back then LOL..but a cool cult kung fu movie :) its a nice clip, i love that rock..
gearing was 83-86t spur and 25-26 pinion, nothing much. 'has good traction ;)
Traxxas Talon/stock stampede tires circumference: 385mm (no thanks)
HPI Baja B5/esav tires circumference : 435mm (now pulled off)
HPI Dirt Bonz tires circumference : 475mm (now put on)

dude, that gearing is insane:eek: you should be looking at a 12-14 tooth pinion with a 90 tooth spur - the gearing ur using fits a rustler with itty bitty tires.

i should ? ok but what reason to do so ? 15/90 is a ratio of 6:1/1:6. the truck is heavy but that could be possible..hm roadrunner..MEEK MEEK!
?
But heavy wheels+heavy truck=cannot likely gear that high. need to gear low to keep traction/acceleration/wheelies and heat low. the speed is ok and so is the punch. i put a new 40mm fan on the vxl esc, so whaddoiknow..i got spurs of 83,86,90 and many pinions. do you mean its underpowered and there's more power to gain from switching gears ? which gears should i then put on ?
but then i'd lose the traction right, and have more top speed? btw that footage is months old, this summer. the setup is different now. will list the built in another thread.:p

put a feiago XL motor in there and that should solve any gearing problems:p
