I can't wait until these are for sale. Perfect size for running around the house or office IMO. Great for those winter days or summer days when your zilla is in pieces from those crazy jumps!

most likely...but you will be sad to hear that they pushed the release date back to late december. I still want one though...super-mini stuff is even cooler than mini stuff...I can see myself getting into all sorts of trouble at work with this

...Nope (shakes head)...You can use 'moosed'...Moosed is a verb

...In the dictionary the meaning reads; 'To irreversibly destroy or injure an object due to a completley irressponsible act of behaviour that was extremely dangerous to start with but you did it anyway'...

...Examples of Use:

A: I moosed up the drive shaft on the 20 meter jump...

B: My girlfriend was pretty moosed after she found me in bed with E-Savvy...

and last but not least, the old family favourite...

C: I totally moosed up my life after I become friends with BitHed!!

Have to agree with Bithed ... although I like the scale, the half8 stuff Tamyia is bringing to the market looks very sweet. It was on display at Nuremberg toyfair as well.

Still wondering which way to go on half8: Tamyia, Kyosho, ... who else is manufacturing these electic-powered beasts-of-fun? I also saw some at Carson's booth I think

didn`t drop by to break your bubble nor disrupt you guys...but...i always disliked tiny RCs...my mini madness is 1/16 [30cm long] and thats the smallest i will ever go...

and yes i know you don`t care about all i just said, LOL!

correctamundo :D

Although the only reason why I'm considering smaller than 1/16 is for prototyping purposes ... making a prototype of a track with track mania alike bends and jumps is way too expensive for large scale cars.

Hadn't really considered 1/16 until I went to Nuremberg ... there seems to be a lot of new stuff around for it ... but maybe I just didn't notice before ;)

Anyhow Moose, didn't mean to hijack your thread so I'll repost my question somewhere else ;)

its all good. So has anyone on this great old site decided to get one besides me? It gets more use than any rc I have owned...drive it at work all the time.

I got one a couple weeks ago and I'm not sure if I like it yet or not. I drive it on tile mostly and it has absolutely NO traction. That was predictable though, the thing weighs next to nothing. I'm also having trouble with the transmission and differential. I've taken it apart and put some 40wt oil in the differential and I backed out the screws on the tranny case, but it still grinds and even locks up at times. I'm hoping it's just taking a little longer to break in. I also broke a steering hub. Hopefully I'll just have a little more luck with it soon and get to like it better.

Edit: I see you've got the aftermarket hubs, where'd you get those from? I'm guessing you did the velcro body attachment upgrade too. The carbon fiber decal job looks cool too. Very nice looking micro-t!

Wow, that thing looks awesome. I'm gonna have to get on that website and get some parts. Did you convert it to deans connectors? I didn't know they made them that small!

Hey mOOsE, I'm sure with all the money it looks like you've got tied up in that thing that you've bought the optional bearing kit. Did you notice a big improvement? Did you have any problem with the differential at any time? What kind of connectors are those and where did you get those? Thanks man

bearings help a litte but my stock bushings weren't bad either. The stock transmission binds a little so loosening the screws on the case slightly with allow it to spin more freely and help a lot. The connectors are mini-deans, most LHS's should have them as long as they have electric flight stuff.

That helps, thanks. Unfortunately I don't have an LHS anywhere near me. I pretty much have to order everything online unless I take a road trip. I did find some mini-deans on tower hobbies though. I think also since I wrote this my differential is finally broke in. I had loosened the screws on the case a little bit and it was still grinding for a while, but it seems pretty good now. It's finally starting to pop wheelies fairly often too. All in all I'm liking it more and more everyday. Now I'm on my way to thetoyz.com to get some bling! Thanks again

All I've done so far is flip the wheels around so I had a wider stance. I've got some parts on the way, but they're out of stock of the silver aluminum knuckles that I need! It'd be nice if they had green anodized option.......
