How much longer will I run on a 17T pinion

Hey all,

As many of you have been reading I’m looking at putting on some larger tires and now I’m looking at other mods to help make things run much more efficiently… as such I’m considering dropping the pinion gear down to a 17T… Would this be wise given I’m looking at the higher turn motors or would this just be too darn slow and not help overall runtime of the truck?

Will this actually help the truck run longer?
If so how long?

Depends what speed you want, if you are going for a crawleresc 6-10mph then the 17t pinions with higher wind motors and the big tyres should balance out ok.
