since no one talks about inner foam in the tyres, is foam important as maybe we could take them out to save even more weight, reduce tyre ballooning up, is there a lighter compound or different material to foam that dosen't collect waters.

the wheels would be too soft making the handling worse. i find that tires with molded foams tend to keep there shape. instead of ballooning. not sure what ones would fit the esav tires

running wheels without foam inserts in a monster truck is a problem...
it will give you more traction [thats why crawlers don`t use foams usually]...
it will stress the drivetrain A LOT...
it will drop performance A LOT...
it will stress the motors and batteries A LOT...
i always use the firmest foams available for my monster trucks...proline maxx impact grey...
and i always seal the wheels...no dirt or water getting in them...

...I run foamless Aggressors (stock Hellfire) tires on my Dark Impact with a 35t motor...They have their benefits of light weight and extra grip but i wouldnt run WITHOUT foams in the BIG trucks...Bad idea...
...I see that Proline has just released some nrew moulded foams for their tires so maybe they are do-able....

exactly...i run foamless rally tires on my rally car too [ex- tamiya blazing star buggy] but the thing is 1.5kg rtr...try that with a 4-5kg monster truck and half of the tire surface will be kissing the ground...
