battery conecters

From experience i can tell you that usin electrical tape and taping up the ends of the battey connecters is a SMART idea. i have gone through a hand full of spare connecters b/c i melted the inside of then. however i havent once overloaded my esc. Trust me it helps.

?? Explain more, its hard to tell what you are talking about. Do you mean the leads off the ESC? How have you melted them? Do you have tamiyas or deans?
