hydrogen fuel cells in rc cars...within the next decade, i guess that we will be kissing good bye to lipos i believe...
http://www.horizonfuelcell.com/rc.htm
its embryo stage of course, but when it evolves it will be a helluva blast in runtimes and performance...highend hydrogen pods already offer a density nearly 10 times more than lipo, 20+ times more than nimh, 35+ times more than nicd... that is 10times more runtime than lipos...

looks good means less charging i likey lol.... i find with the stock batteries they don't last very long so those would be great but i expect they will be quite expensive.

its a new techonology...in time those cells will cost as much as today`s batteries do...

very nice, looking at it, it looks possible to do a homemade version of it, i did a research on it last year. kosta, looks like that will be your project to build one.
if one of those tank were ruptured(imagine e-sav landing upside down), would it cause a small bomb
also it dosen't wear out like a normal battery do

its true that hydrogen cells are partially unstable but this is going to change...
same happened when lipos did their first steps...exploded [not just catching fire] if they falled of your hands to the ground...nearly 15 years ago...
there is a vast funding behind 'hydrogen fuel' and its applications...not only in military stuff, but in commercial applications as well...for example, BMW and TOYOTA have been funding their own hydrogen fuel research for the past 10 years, and the financial numbers just keep growing year by year [mainly due to the price path of the common petrol/gasoline-based fuel]...besides toyota, all other car manufacturers are in serious financial trouble; they have to keep the costs down for the consumer to buy...so they have to push the envelope and keep advancing what they sell to get more attractive to the consumer... who wouldn`t buy a 30000euro car [which would work with water] instead of a 15000euro one [which would need 200euros per month for gasoline/petrol] ?

agree what you said, there are petrol station(gas stations) in UK which supplied hydroden fuel, i think there are only 2 in UK(its early days), shell fuels does them, also hydroden fuel cell will be a big part in generating electric and hot water in homes. i have read somewhere in the internet that you can make liquid hydrogen with household tools, as far as i can tell, it dosent seems to be that difficult to do it, anyone with basis science knowlegde can do it(i could be wroung).
