This is one powerful emaxx. I have never heard of Neu motors before, but apparently they are amazing! This has got to be doing at LEAST 45-50 with wheelies on demand all the way to top speed apparently! Here is his description...

"Neu 1515 2.5d, 5s 8000mah TrueRC Lipo's, 51/20 gearing, stock diff ratio, Quark Monster Pro."

I know!!! I checked out the specs on the 1515 series motors... and WOW... insane power output!!! 1500-1800 watts with 2700+ watts surge!!! I think that will be my next investment!!!

I also was looking through some emaxx forums and saw a post about an email a guy had recieved from castle creations saying they are getting closer to completion on the mamba monster maxx setup. He said it should be able to handle 6s lipo or 20 nimh cells and have an output of a whopping 2000 watts! Thats 2.68 horsepower!!!! I cant wait.... :)

Very nice... I love the size of the EMAXX's, it's just too bad you have to spend so much on them to make them withstand any punishment.

I saw the Mamba Monster Max at the ihobby expo. Very good looking, all come standard with a nue motor! Combo will be 300, esc will be 150!

Good infos.
Was ready to order a MM + Ammo.
Now I will wait.

Slave, will your truck withstand that much power ?

10-27-2007, 05:50 PM
I dont think so and maybe I don't want so much power.
I was more asking what's the point to get a MM for 135$ if I can wait a little and have a MMM for 150$.

NEU motors are considered pretty much the best out there. According to the rumors, the new Mamba Monster Max will be manufactured by NEU.

The MMM motors will be manufactured by Castle Creations, who have basically bought the blueprint for the 1515y motor from NEU. So it will not be made by Neu, but it is the same motor.

what do u guys mean if it's the trucks strong enough? like the drivterain or something? how would you excactly break these parts? ( eg. going off a jump and in mid air try to backflip so put throttle down all the way and driveterain could not withstand the rpm's the motor is throwing out......)

Thanks ")
