Hy there. I've read that the lipo-s can get very hot during the runs. Is there a temperature sensor that I can mount on my flux so I can be warned that the lipos are hot?
Thx.

Or maybe DX3s but i hear those sensors are better for Engines...

I dont know for nothing that will beep when motor is too hot... maybe someone else knows?

you can buy a Venom temperature sensor and fail safe module, they are cheap and they are very good!

You could get a spektrum DX3S with thermal monitoring in real time.

Cheap Lipos will get hot, but I have never had an issue with any pack temps and I thrash the Flux.

I use the DX3S to monitor motor temps, highest I have had is 165f on 4s Lipo.

The ESC fan does come on a bit though I found, usually 4-5 times a 20 minute run so it's working :)

I'm pretty sure I said I was using the DX3S to monitor motor temps not lipo temps.

anyway, he was using DX3S to monitor motor temps so everything is okay...
FastBaja5b, what range do you get with your DX3S ?

Never actually gone for a range test, suffice to say I've never had an issue with it bashing tho, so I can safely say up to 100-120 metres is fine, maybe further but this old guy can't see that far!
