@ Screener06
I see you have the Losi LST2 shocks on. What do you need to mount them on top and bottem? Any tips? I ordered my off ebay and still don't know how to mount them. Also, do they work with MT2 shock mounts?

most people on here who have used the LST2 shocks screwed them directly to the lower A-Arm rather than using the existing mounting position. then use a spacer on the suspension tower to ensure the shocks are straight. you can use the MT2 towers with them too. look for threads banx posted, i think he ran MT2 towers and LST2 shocks for a while. also peruse Aero's posts and i think he has done the same.

Personally I used spacers on the top and bottom, using the original mounting holes. What I used as spacers were some spare parts from some
T Maxx/slash/rustler shocks. The flat spacers I used on the top on shock tower are from the pistons, as well as the longer piece. check out the pics...

I didn't think of drilling new mounting holes on the front arms, adding spacers only to the top of the shock tower, rather then using the original mounting holes. Sound like a good idea.

But the way i mounted them, I've had no problems so far.

I should add. You also need like a bushing or something like that
for the mounting hole on the top of shocks.

man that ford f 350( i think) looks real nice and fits snugly to the chassis. too bad you could not use some bigger wheels + tires, it would only add to the toughness. How you been liking the lst2 shocks?

Close, it's actually a Pro-Line Ford F-650 Clear Body.
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJUK9

as for the shocks...
I'm very pleased with them, their a good upgrade from the stock
shocks (Especially combined with the RB2X chassis), They improve the suspension overall, plus they look super sweet!
I haven't really done any extreme jumps but on the jumps that i have done there is a very noticeable difference in the take off and when landing.

If your planning on buying lst2 shocks, I recommend you buy the RPM Front Bumper (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXSKN5&P=FR),
to protect the shocks, you will need it. The stock bumper provides no protection at all.

When i first put the shocks on, before buying the RPM bumper, I took My truck for a out for a bash and at some point during the bashing session, I must of crashed something into the shock because I broke the Piston shaft (right where it screws into the pivot ball that attaches to the A-Arm )
Shaft.jpg

Thats when I bought the RPM bumper and a new set of shafts (titanium coated, you can tell in the pic's on my previous post). I like the gold look
and so far so good.
